Job Summary
Medical Assistant internship opportunity at Boulder Medical Center for University of Colorado pre-med students. Interns gain real-world outpatient clinical experience, training in electronic medical records (EMR), exposure to Family Medicine and Internal Medicine clinics, and potential for academic course credit. The program focuses on hands-on duties such as reviewing medical records, scanning and documenting diagnostic results, charting progress notes, stocking and preparing exam rooms, performing EKGs, and conducting point-of-care tests (urinalysis, pregnancy tests, strep tests, etc.). It runs 10 hours per week during Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., for 6–18 months, with weekends and major holidays off. There is potential for full-time or part-time job placement upon completion. Benefits include earning course credit and MA training at no cost. Location: Boulder, CO.
