Job Summary
Collaborate with departments to ensure employees receive appropriate care and programs, while assisting with annual physicals, screenings, and testing. Formulate individualized health programs based on risk assessments and coordinate client referrals to other providers. Provide one-on-one counseling, conduct training sessions, and interpret screening results with detailed documentation in electronic medical records. Ensure a safe working environment by following regulatory policies and build partnerships with internal and external partners. Full-time role with travel between clinics required. Base pay is $18-25/hour based on experience. Certified Medical Assistant with Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout an organization
- Ensure business is conducted in a timely, confidential, courteous, and professional manner
- Knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle related topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, stress reduction and chronic condition
- Optimistic, understanding, innovative, conscientious
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, employees, and the public
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is required
- May need to travel between clinics
