Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, EMT considered) - Float Team

Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians, PAs, or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, and procedures in a physician-led multispecialty/urgent care network. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, escorting patients, maintaining efficient patient flow, collecting vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, height/weight), documenting in EHR and PMS, updating medication lists and allergies, coordinating orders/referrals, ensuring universal safety precautions, stocking supplies, and providing occasional scribing services. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, 0-1 year of related experience (2-4 years preferred), Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, and English communication skills. Travel to satellite offices as needed is expected. Knowledge of EHR/PMS systems and ability to organize multiple tasks is required.
