Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA) – Clinica Santa Maria, Spanish-speaking location. In a collaborative clinic environment, perform duties including room setup, patient prep, vitals, EKG, blood draws, injections/immunizations, Point of Care testing, and in-office procedures/treatments. Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of MA program/externship or EMT/Paramedic program; preferred CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC certification. Fluency in Spanish required for this location. Full-time position with day shift in Grand Rapids, MI; benefits available from Day 1.
Required Qualifications
- Education- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of accredited/approved MA program and MA externship, MA internship, EMT, or Paramedic program
- Credentials/Licensure (Preferred): CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC
- In absence of completed MA Program/Externship/Internship, 2+ years clinical experience providing clinical support in community-based clinic
- Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read, and write)
