Job Summary

Support clinical and administrative functions in ambulatory clinics by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and administering diagnostic tests, immunizations, and medications. Assist providers with exams and procedures while ensuring accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record. Coordinate prescription refills, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling, then communicate test results and follow up with patients. Prepare exam rooms to maintain clinic readiness and participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the care team to deliver compassionate, coordinated care. Required Qualifications

  • Current National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and maintained every two years

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent preferred
  • One year of healthcare experience preferred
