Medical Assistant (MA) - Behavioral Medicine

Record patients' medical history, vital signs, and test results in medical records while preparing treatment rooms and interviewing patients to obtain necessary information. Collect blood and tissue specimens for laboratory testing, clean and sterilize instruments, and administer medications as directed by a physician. Show patients to examination rooms, explain treatment procedures and instructions, and assist physicians with examinations, injections, and suture removal. Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies. Eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requires 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience or current valid medical assistant credentials, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
