Job Summary
Medical Assistant in the Vanderbilt Pulmonary Clinic supporting the licensed healthcare team by organizing and managing clinic patient flow, performing EKGs, administering vaccines, assisting in thoracentesis procedures, and other clinic-related tasks. Works closely with nurses, LPNs, RNs, schedulers, doctors, pharmacists, and more; focuses on efficient patient care, documentation, and education. Full-time, five days per week, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no nights, holidays, or weekends; emphasis on teamwork, compassionate service, and maintaining unit operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- Less than 1 year experience
