Medical Assistant, LPN or ATC Float Full-time Harding Place

Review and maintain patient charts to ensure EMR completeness, escort patients from waiting to triage areas while monitoring schedules for efficiency, and evaluate initial vital signs including lab specimens. Remove staples and sutures, assist with minor surgical procedures, and manage device placement for splints, braces, and bandages. Clean and sterilize equipment, stock exam rooms, and communicate post-procedure restrictions to patients. Complete insurance, disability, and FMLA forms; schedule appointments and procedures; verify insurance; collect balances; and enter data. Make follow-up calls to document surgical progress and coordinate with outside facilities for tests or surgeries. Requires MA certification or one year experience, BLS certification, and local travel via personal vehicle.
