Job Summary
Assist with patient care management, execute administrative and clinical procedures, and provide exceptional medical care addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs. Perform clinical and administrative assistance to physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, and patients while adhering to prescribed treatment plans and established policies. Deliver selected nursing acts to ill, injured, or infirm patients under physician direction. Work under general supervision across various shifts, with potential for over 40 hours per week, callbacks, and on-campus presence during severe weather or disasters.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Ability to perform administrative and clinical procedures
- Ability to provide exceptional medical care
- Ability to meet each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs
- Ability to provide administrative/clinical assistance to physicians/mid-level practitioners/nurses/patients
- Ability to adhere to a prescribed treatment plan
- Ability to adhere to established policies and procedures
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Ability to be responsible for various shifts
- Ability to be subject to over 40 hours per week
- Ability to be subject to callback as required
- Ability to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters
