Job Summary
Medical Assistant/LPN (Neurology) for full-time role providing direct patient care and clinical support: assists providers in patient examinations and procedures, conducts rooming, records vital signs and measurements, performs hearing/vision/ECG testing, collects specimens, performs venipuncture, administers medications/immunizations, processes prescriptions and prior authorizations, manages clinical supplies, and supports administrative duties in compliance with standards (JCAHO, CLIA, NCQA). Position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus; shift is Day Shift, 8 am–5 pm; Health/dental/vision benefits, disability and life coverage, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plan available for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Graduate from an accredited MA Program OR MA Training Program with externship OR 1 year of relevant healthcare experience with formal training (LNA, EMT, Combat Medic) OR 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- MA II: HS Diploma or GED with at least 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant, CMA/RMA/CCMA required
- BLS authorization within 90 days of employment and maintained during employment
- CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred for MA I; CMA/RMA/CCMA required for MA II
