Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for healthcare practitioners, obtain vital signs, and collect specimens for routine and specialty procedures. Perform insurance authorizations, assist with scheduling, and document patient interactions via electronic medical record. Obtain current healthcare provider CPR certification and maintain MA-C or LPN licensure through Washington state standards. Apply for EPIC EMR experience and utilize front and back-office duties to support the cardiovascular surgery team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of a certified medical assistant program
- Previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards
- Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C)
- Interim MA-C through WA State DOH
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program
- Previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- COVID-19 immunization proof

- CT experience
