Job Summary
Medical Assistant to perform patient intake procedures (vital signs, medical history, medication lists), assist clinicians with examinations and treatments, prepare examination rooms, provide patient education on treatment plans and medications, schedule appointments and maintain patient records, and support administrative tasks (phone calls, documentation) while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- X-Ray certification is a plus
- Previous hospital or clinical experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks effectively
