Medical Assistant - Lone Tree Family Practice

Job Summary
The Medical Assistant will support the provider in examinations and treatments, perform vital signs, document in the EMR, assist with point-of-care tests, maintain supplies and rooms, manage front-office tasks when needed, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Requires high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited healthcare program (CMA preferred), CMA certification preferred, and BLS certification. Experience in Family or Pediatrics and Athenahealth experience are a plus. Salary range is $21-$27/hour with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent work experience
- National CMA certification strongly preferred
- Maintain certifications per state guidelines
- Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred
- Some MA experience required
- Current BLS card
- Athenahealth practice management system (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in Family or Pediatrics (preferred)
- National CMA certification strongly preferred
