Medical Assistant - Little Rock

Medical Assistant at Sage Health in Little Rock, AR partnering with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care to seniors in a value-based primary care setting. Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining medical histories, recording vital signs, documenting information in the electronic health record, preparing exam rooms, assisting physicians and onsite specialists during examinations and procedures, supporting providers with virtual patient appointments conducted in patients’ homes, maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA, ensuring charts and lab results are complete, maintaining sterile exam rooms, monitoring inventory and supply ordering, coordinating with pharmacies and diagnostic facilities, performing clinical duties including phlebotomy, injections, dressing changes, and suture removal, participating in team huddles and quality initiatives, and traveling between Sage Health center locations as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CMA/RMA certification, CPR certification, and 2+ years of MA experience preferred; phlebotomy experience and EMR familiarity are preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus; experience with geriatric/underserved populations is preferred.
