Job Summary
Perform patient care management, organization, and communication while supporting medical providers and radiologic technologists. Execute limited capacity x-rays for patients and report results to medical providers. Complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. This role operates within GoHealth Urgent Care centers across the Greater Houston area, partnering with Memorial Hermann to provide an effortless patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience
- Experience performing X-rays
- CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification
- CMA - Certified Medical Assistant certification
- RMA - Registered Medical Assistant certification
- NCMA - National Certified Medical Assistant certification
- NRCMA - Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
