Job Summary
Coordinate daily clinic operations, optimize workflow, and create staff schedules in collaboration with the clinic manager. Assist physicians with patient care by preparing patients for visits and procedures, administering vaccines and medications, performing phlebotomy, and conducting point-of-care testing. Provide indirect support via phone and EHR to address patient questions, process medication refills, and schedule follow-up appointments. Utilize the electronic health record for efficient documentation and care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- MA certification within one year from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA
- Washington State certification as a MA or Interim MA for those working or floating in Washington
- Current BLS for Providers from the American Heart Association
- One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a medical assistant program
- Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
