Job Summary
Provide patient care in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies within the medical office setting under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners. Perform duties assigned by supervising physicians, Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice once competency is established. Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification and complete visual color acuity screening as required. Hold CMA or RMA certification; complete state-required X-ray safety course within 30 days of employment if performed at the medical office location. Work the 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM shift.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- Prior completion of state required X-ray safety course or begin course within 30 days of employment and complete no later than 90 days, if performed at medical office location
- CMA or RMA
