Job Summary
Medical Assistant position at Langston Hughes for Cleveland Clinic Health System. The role supports a 9:30am-6:00pm shift at Langston Hughes with potential float to Main Campus and exposure to Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Wellness, and Adult Psychiatry service lines. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program OR Military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Current demonstrated clinical proficiency
- Prior Pediatric experience preferred
- Medical Assisting Certification (preferred)
- Cleveland Clinic Externship or equivalent clinical externship (preferred)
- Basic Computer knowledge and typing skills
- Effective time management and multitasking in a busy environment
