Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history. Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis. Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Schedule appointments and manage office communications while educating patients on treatment plans and skincare practices. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked. May support the clinic's social media presence by gathering content and sharing approved updates. Requires high school diploma, preferred certification, and knowledge of dermatology practices. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis
