Job Summary
Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, and podiatry clinics. Greet patients warmly, take vitals, update charting in EMR, assist with procedures alongside nurses and providers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across La Crosse, Onalaska, and Winona locations. Role is 0.9 FTE (72 hours bi-weekly)/36 hours per week, Monday–Friday, daytime hours with no weekend or holiday requirements. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
- High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
- Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date
