Job Summary
Assist with procedures and virtual visits while supporting the Viroqua Family Medicine team in delivering exceptional patient care. Provide hands-on clinical support under the supervision of providers, nurses, and managers within a compassionate, mission-driven environment. This role requires a Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent certification, with BLS certification and Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire. The position offers 32 hours per week Monday through Friday with no weekend or holiday hours required. Starting pay is $21.34 per hour, supplemented by comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
- High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS for healthcare workers
- Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date
