Job Summary
Conduct high-volume phlebotomy, maintain clinical supply inventory, and ensure lab specimens are ordered, collected, and sent to proper facilities. Document patient care services using Kindbody's proprietary EMR system and online laboratory portals while assisting providers with fertility and GYN procedures. Sterilize medical instruments via autoclave, take vital signs, and provide pre/post-op education and counseling to patients and families. Establish a compassionate, organized environment, work independently to achieve program goals, and support team members through training and feedback loops.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a formal MA program
- CPT License
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Ability to give intramuscular injections
- Minimum 2 years of experience in GYN
- Minimum 1 year experience in GYN procedures
- Minimum 2 years experience working in an EMR
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in supply ordering and inventory
- Knowledge of Medical Instruments and Sterilization
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Exemplifies strong customer service skills
- Willingness to be flexible and cross train in other roles when necessary
- Open to work weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in GYN, fertility is a plus
