Job Summary
The Medical Assistant position involves a variety of clerical and clinical tasks aimed at supporting physicians in patient examinations and treatment. Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vital signs, maintaining clinical supplies, performing routine lab tests, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, processing payments, and managing patient records. Candidates should have knowledge of medical procedures, first aid measures, and regulations, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. A background in both front and back office activities is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of accredited medical assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- At least two years of experience in a medical environment
