Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, including reporting test results and phone triage, while assisting providers with non-invasive procedures like vital signs and exam preparation. Maintain exam rooms, manage clinic communications, and oversee supply requisitions to ensure efficient operations. Educate patients on medications and diets, and maintain accurate documentation and daily logs. Requires BCLS certification and 0-1 years of experience; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for an employer
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Complies with all policies and standards
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
