Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, vital signs monitoring, and documentation for both adult and pediatric patients in an internal medicine and pediatrics practice. Assist physicians with minor procedures, medication administration, and chart management while maintaining a four-day work week schedule including early morning and late night shifts. Coordinate with a team of eight providers to ensure seamless care delivery within Corewell Health's outpatient clinics across Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program
- 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
Desired Qualifications
