Job Summary
Medical Assistant sought for Palo Alto Mind Body in the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities include supporting patient experience by checking patients in/out, managing intake and medical forms, rooming patients (including assisting with wheelchair), using clinical skills to check vitals and monitor patients, and preparing rooms between patients. Requires 1+ years of experience or equivalent training; undergraduate degree or some college preferred; medical assistant certificate preferred. Must be professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and proficient with Chromebooks and G-suite; knowledge of HIPAA; adherence to COVID safety protocols and provide proof of vaccination. In-person, full-time role with clinic hours roughly 10:00am–7:00pm (Mon-Fri) with shift variation based on scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience or equivalent education / training
- An undergraduate degree or some college (preferred)
- A medical assistant certificate (preferred)
- Comfortable in the use of Chromebooks, G-suite, etc.
- Must provide proof of COVID vaccination prior to starting employment
- HIPAA knowledge
- COVID safety protocols commitment
