Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed to support dermatology clinicians. Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting physicians during in-office surgeries, excisions, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments, providing medication instructions, acting as a scribe for the provider, and working one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants. Role includes in-office EMR use training and participation in our MA training materials. Prior healthcare experience with direct patient contact is valued; strong opportunities for hands-on experience and career growth in a dermatology setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assisting training program (helpful)
- Medical Assisting Certification preferred
- Prior medical assisting experience preferred
