Job Summary
Deliver dynamic lesson plans and practical demonstrations covering vitals, blood draws, EKG, and administrative front-office procedures. Evaluate student work, provide timely feedback, and offer targeted advisement for academic or behavioral concerns. Lead lab sessions to ensure proficiency while accurately completing required documentation for student files, attendance, and grading. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to align with campus goals and accreditation standards. Requires current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) and three years of full-time practical experience. Schedule includes 10 hours per week on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Las Vegas campus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Three (3) years of full-time, practical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Any current license or credential required by Nevada state law to practice in the field
