Job Summary
Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on diagnostic procedures, equipment operation, and troubleshooting while organizing clear class objectives. Maintain and prepare training aids, tools, and equipment in classrooms and labs, ensuring an orderly, controlled, and safe environment for students. Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve academic and professional success. Identify at-risk students, create individualized success plans to mitigate attrition, and foster relationships to help them meet program competency requirements. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress, and provide periodic reporting to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3 Years of practical work experience
- Direct and specialized knowledge in the area of instruction
- Experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, wound care, GYN procedures and vital signs
- Ability to use hearing and sight (both near and far vision)
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate personal computers, manual and electrical (dental, automotive, mechanical, nursing, etc.) equipment, as well as various diagnostic or procedure equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with the assistance of mechanical interventions, students, or other employees
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to provide instruction in labs and demonstrate procedures
- Ability to communicate, think, learn, and reason
- Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks
- Ability to safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locations
- Ability to demonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibility
- Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneously
- Ability to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates essential functions of the position
- Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment
- Ability to adhere to site-specific safety procedures
- No travel required
