Job Summary
Medical Assistant PRN at Intermountain Health in Taylorsville, Utah. Supports clinical team by providing patient care under the direction of the clinician, gathers information relevant to visits, and communicates with patients via telephone and in-person interactions. Works with cross-functional teams to collaborate on patient care; emphasizes attention to detail and follow-through. Required Qualifications
- Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers; must be obtained prior to start date
- Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver high-quality care; protect privacy and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers
