Job Summary
Medical Assistant in Flint, MI supporting patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented neurology/pain-management setting. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, delivering and transporting patients, data entry into the EMR, handling administrative duties (phone calls, insurance authorizations, reminders), maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Requires eligibility to work in the U.S. and a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR certification within 30 days; healthcare experience preferred; familiarity with EMR systems recommended.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degrees strongly preferred in the areas related to Healthcare and Biology.
- Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care.
