Medical Assistant in Poughkeepsie, New York

Medical Assistant to support healthcare professionals in patient care, medical evaluations, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs and medical histories, performing phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical tests, maintaining medical records, handling patient inquiries, and organizing equipment and supplies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred; prior healthcare experience and MA certification are a plus.
