Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed to support physicians across four Illinois locations (New Lenox, Joliet, Downers Grove, Westmont) in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Responsibilities include guiding patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for examinations, assisting physicians during exams, wound care evaluation, splint/cast handling, processing prescriptions, preparing injectable medications, coordinating referrals, maintaining infection control, charting and patient education, appointment scheduling, and clerical duties such as sending records and managing insurance and patient demographics. Requires strong communication, multitasking, familiarity with EHR/software, and professional interaction with patients and staff.
