Job Summary
Medical Assistant in outpatient clinic performing both administrative and clinical duties across multiple locations. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, triaging for examinations, preparing patients, coordinating referrals, wound care assessment and procedures (cast/splint as applicable), medication administration and education, charting and administrative tasks, scheduling, and ensuring infection control. Requires travel between locations; strong knowledge of practice management/EHR software, patient communication, and coordination with care teams. CPR certification required; CMA/CAA certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (CMA) preferred
- CMA (AAMA), RMA, CCMA, NCMA preferred
