Job Summary
Medical Assistant III - Radiation role assists physicians and clinicians in oncology settings, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, or gynecologic oncology. Supports and maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care such as exams and minor procedures, and provides patient education. Performs clinic support tasks (filing, answering phones, managing physician schedule) and adheres to compliance programs. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, CMA certification, CPR certification, and 3+ years of hospital/clinic experience; CMS attestation within 90 days of hire; CMA certification must be kept active. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 3+ years experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting
- Current CMA certification
- CPR certification
- CMS attestation (must be completed within 90 days of hire)
- Active CMA certification must be kept current for employment
