Job Summary
Manage direct patient care by performing routine procedures, building trust through attentive communication, and documenting all specialties in the Electronic Health Record. Assist with administrative responsibilities including feedback on Back-Office processes to the Nursing Supervisor/Manager and mentor the Medical Assistant team to achieve department goals. If assigned to the Patient Service Center, provide duties over the telephone. Requires a Medical Assistant certificate, high school diploma, and valid BLS certification, with phlebotomy and bilingual skills strongly preferred. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $30.55 hourly. Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid BLS certification or higher following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a back office Medical Assistant preferred in the outpatient setting, medical practice, or clinic setting
- Phlebotomy certified
- Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location
