Medical Assistant II - Procedure Tech (10626)

Procedure Technician serves as a Medical Assistant for office visits and operates the C-Arm fluoroscopy unit during procedure sessions in a high-volume interventional environment. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical history, assisting physicians during office examinations and minor procedures, preparing and administering medications and injections, entering orders and maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and ensuring radiation safety and cleanliness of the procedure suite. The role requires strong clinical assessment, effective communication with physicians and staff, adherence to HIPAA/OSHA standards, and the ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility. Travel to other clinic locations with mileage reimbursement may be required.
