Job Summary
Clinical and clerical back-office support for podiatry providers and the patient care team. Performs duties to support delivery of high-quality patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, administering injections, and assisting with the medical plan of care. Requires HS diploma or GED and completion of medical assisting training or on-the-job training equivalent to one year, plus BLS certification and 1 year of relevant experience. Proficient in basic medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, EHR use, and building collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers. Strong time management, organization, and communication skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Completion of medical assisting training or on-the-job training equivalent to one year
- BLS Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
