Job Summary
Medical Assistant II at Mass General Brigham: participate in patient care activities including rooming patients, taking blood pressures, performing EKGs, and recording vitals in EPIC. Ensure efficient patient flow and high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction; maintain clean exam rooms and phlebotomy areas, and support cardio-clinic workflows. Provide information to front desk staff regarding workflow, ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, and assist with covering MA shortages in other cardiology areas. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and teamwork to support ongoing process improvements and high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- MA Certification required
- BLS Certified required
- EKG Certified required
- Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA preferred
- BLS Certification preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
