Medical Assistant II, GSF UC RP (Limited-Term)

Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and patients by performing back office and patient-related tasks that ensure smooth workflow and implement the medical plan of care. Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and administer injections while interpreting data and instructions from written, oral, or diagram sources. Communicate sensitive information clearly to diverse audiences and manage assignments within standardized operating procedures to meet deadlines. Work independently and collaboratively in an environment with interruptions, utilizing time management skills to prioritize tasks and resolve standard problems. Operate under the direction of a clinician, completing duties with a focus on patient education and technical competence.
