Job Summary
Maintain patient flow by assisting and promoting the delivery of primary and preventative health care while performing technical procedures, lab protocols, and clinically oriented activities under physician/provider direction. Oversee functions related to clinical activities and assist management in achieving office efficiencies in accordance with stated policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. Support physicians, clinic staff, and management to embody the "Service First" philosophy and promote customer satisfaction across Corewell Health's outpatient clinics in Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited MA program, including clinical rotation, or equivalent experience
- 6 months of relevant experience
- Six (6) months MA work experience or a completed Beaumont MA internship
- 2 years of relevant experience
- 2-3 years of MA experience
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 30 days from hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 30 days from hire
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants within 90 Days
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) - AMT American Medical Technologists within 90 Days
- CRT-Medical Assistant, American Registry (ARMA) - ARMA American Medical Technologists within 90 Days
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing within 90 Days
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA National HealthCareer Association within 90 Days
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP National Association for Health Professionals within 90 Days
- LIC-License Practical Nursing (LPN) - State of Michigan upon hire
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Team members may have other MA certifications and hire dates before November 1, 2025
