Job Summary
Medical Assistant I supports physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties. Responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients, conducting basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs), assisting with exams, maintaining exam rooms and equipment, updating EMR, handling patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or current MA certification from a nationally accredited body. The role operates in a women’s health OB/GYN setting with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
