Job Summary
Greet and support patients virtually and in person, prepare them for visits, and perform basic clinical tasks including testing, injections, and EKGs. Assist with exams, maintain exam rooms and equipment, and manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling. Handle clerical duties, troubleshoot video visits, and support patient portal access while adapting to changing schedules and priorities. Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours to deliver high-quality care in a resident-supported, mission-driven academic practice.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program
- Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
