Job Summary
Medical Assistant I for Urgent Care at Granger Medical Clinic. Collaborates with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care. Responsibilities include telephone triage, obtaining insurance authorizations, recording vital signs, administering immunizations, performing phlebotomy, maintaining exam rooms, and handling filing tasks. Must have 1 year of Urgent Care MA experience and be willing to work at West Jordan and West Valley-Fairbourne locations. Schedule includes shifts in West Jordan and West Valley-Fairbourne locations. Strong customer service, typing (~40 wpm), English communication, and teamwork are essential; Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire; Spanish helpful. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- 1 year of Urgent Care Medical Assistant experience
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
