Job Summary
Medical Assistant I in Rheumatology providing patient rooming, taking vitals and medical history, updating charts, obtaining pre-authorization and coordinating referrals, assisting physician with wound care, documenting follow-up interactions, scheduling appointments, handling communications and chart management, and traveling to other CLS Health locations. Requires proficiency in medical terminology, Microsoft Office and insurance billing knowledge, and bilingual communication. Part-time role with responsibilities across clinical support, patient education, and administrative tasks in a multispecialty practice.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accreditation organization or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program
- Must be bilingual
