Job Summary
Medical Assistant I role seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with CMA/RMA preference and completion of an accredited MA program. Responsibilities include vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, phlebotomy, minor procedures, infection control, scheduling and administrative duties, processing insurance claims, referrals/pre-authorizations, managing inventory, and ensuring patient confidentiality. Ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and patient-focused care in a fast-paced clinical setting; prior experience with EHRs and strong communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: CMA or RMA preferred
- Education: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Experience: 1-3 years in clinical setting preferred
- Experience with EHR systems
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
