Job Summary
Medical Assistant I or II role supporting back-office operations: patient preparation, assisting clinicians with exams and minor procedures, and conducting in-house lab tests (venipuncture, hemoglobin, rapid strep, urine chemistries, glucose, pregnancy tests). For Medical Assistant II, responsibilities expand to lab coverage, Epic training and shadowing, serving as Epic Super User, and updating patient demographics and medical history. Requires Washington State Medical Assistant certification or interim certification and ability to work evenings and Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification (I)
- Maintain current certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant in Washington State (I)
- Ability and willingness to work evening hours and Saturdays (I)
- Certificate from accredited Medical Assistant program (II)
- Minimum 6 months Medical Assistant experience and demonstrated leadership (II)
- Epic EHR experience (II)
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification (II)
- Maintain current certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant in Washington State (II)
- Ability and willingness to work evening hours and Saturdays (II)
