Medical Assistant I

Medical Assistant I provides direct and indirect patient care in a clinical office setting, supports providers with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation in EHR systems, and offers administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment, knowledge of outpatient procedures and equipment, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Certification in BLS is required; preferred qualification includes graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and at least one year of outpatient/ambulatory care experience. This role operates under supervision within Mercy’s mission and standards of care.
