Job Summary
Provide supportive patient care functions, ensure patient safety and comfort, and perform delegated tasks as directed by physicians or RNs. Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical procedures for higher-level roles, serving as a resource for less experienced staff. Maintain legal and professional standards while utilizing computer proficiency and EPIC systems for daily operations. This role offers hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $32.00, with benefits including a comprehensive package, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, BLS certification, and relevant experience or certification to qualify.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1 year of directly related experience without certification
- Basic medical/nursing terminology
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant
- 5+ years of directly related experience
- 8+ years of directly related experience
- Experience in Ambulatory Care
- EPIC and Windows-based computer systems experience
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
