Job Summary
Obtain medical history, interview clients, and educate on reproductive health options while ensuring informed consent. Perform clinical duties including vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, dipstick urinalysis, and EKG lead placement. Assist nurses during procedures, prepare examination rooms, and operate medical equipment. Manage front office functions by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, registering clients, processing payments, and verifying insurance coverage. Complete daily quality control logs and maintain infection control standards. Work full-time with flexible hours including Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- willingness to obtain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of hire
- At least one (1) to two (2) years experience in a clinical setting
- Availability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Venipuncture and Injection training
- Keep current on relevant anatomy and physiology
